Written by We rebuilt Trade Replay on Tradingview Advanced Charting Library, the same charting engine that powers Trading View’s own platform. The old version worked, but it was ours alone, built from scratch, and it showed in the small things: drawing tools that didn’t quite behave like a real terminal, a limited set of instruments, charts that felt more like a demo than something you’d actually trade off of.
The new version doesn’t have that problem. Drawing tools work the way you’d expect from any professional charting platform, because they’re the same tools traders use on Trading View itself. You can step through price action candle by candle, drop in indicators, measure moves, and switch between dozens of instruments, not just the handful we used to support.
